Quote du jour
[On reincarnation]
The only thing no one was in a past life is boring. You have to wonder whatever happens to dull souls.
- Susan Conant

Site du jour: While a bit harsh, the Oatmeal makes some good points: "If you do this in an email, I hate you."

Goal of the month: 30 days of purging, sorting, shredding, filing, donating and generally getting Stuff out the door.

Goal of the week: Nose to pillow by 9 p.m. Sounds so simple, doesn't it?
Done! It is simple. All you need to do is feel not well at all, and going to bed early is fine. The only problem with achieving that goal is that the other goals were left by the wayside.

Exercise du jour: C25k week 3
Brisk five-minute warmup walk, then do two repetitions of the following:
  • Jog 200 yards (or 90 seconds)
  • Walk 200 yards (or 90 seconds)
  • Jog 400 yards (or 3 minutes)
  • Walk 400 yards (or three minutes)

I relate to hating the chain letters. I know I'm not going to *die* if I don't pass it on, but I don't need that kind of pressure in my day. ;)

Why did they invent Monday? Because they had to go to work and invent something, and misery loves company.
