Tomorrow is another week

Cate Blanchett

Quote du jour: God has entrusted me with myself.
- Epictetus

Okay, this was a week of whining and whinging and working and wimpitude. I have decided that I do not like this week. Therefore, I have decided that this week did not happen. I hereby wipe it out from time and memory. Tomorrow is another week. Or something like that.

Dude, I've had a bad week, myself. I'm TOTALLY STEALING this method of coping. ;)

Marste, anything that helps you get through this time is a good idea. Virtual hugs being sent your way.

An excellent idea.

Now to convince the rest of my family, who will want to give me continual reminders...

re the previous post, I hope you haven't been weighing yourself more than once a week anyway. Way too many factors can affect the numbers from one day to the next.

In fact, stop focusing on the scale, period. Hide it someplace for a month. And stop torturing your body. Everyone I know who exercises religiously ends up visiting an orthopedic surgeon. How can something that sends you to the doctor be healthy? Instead just walk and bike more to your destinations. Or if you walk already, take the longer route. If you have to drive, park further away. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Mow your grass with a push mower and rake your leaves by hand. Scrub the bathtub. All of these things use up a LOT of calories and don't beat up on your body as much as an exercise regimen does.
