Is there a cure for Mondays, apart from Tuesdays?
Quote du jour:
Mondays are meshed with Tuesdays
And the week with the whole year.
Time cannot be cut with your weary scissors,
And all the names of the day are washed out by the waters of night.
- Pablo Neruda
Feels like winter 'round here. Surely this can't still be August. It's cold, grey, rainy. The calendar must be confused.
Dealing with dog leftovers: expensive prescription shampoos barely opened, anti-biotics, anti-fungals, ant-acids, things to clean ears, things to clean carpets. Also some dog coats, dog blankets, dog towels, a dog bed. I'm hoping a Rescue might want some of these things. Seems a shame to throw them all away.
Exercise du jour: Cycling. I am tired of jogging. Or jogging is tired of me. Or maybe I'm just tired, period. I wish someone would find a cure for Mondays.

I'm wearing fall colors in an attempt to coax some cool weather this way. I am so over these 100+ degree days!
Contact your local ASPCA donate those items. They will gladly accept them.
The cure for Mondays = Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and bloody marys!
Should I mention that the weather is just silly hot here right now?
Hope you are resting that foot and giving it a chance to get better.
LaShaune is right, a rescue group will find a use for it, or someone who can use it.
Still on the warm side here, too, but a bit cooler and less humid in the mornings, which means fall will be here in about 2-3 months.
Your vet might know someone who could use them. Sometimes shelters can't take opened stuff. Your vet knows you and knows that the various bottles will not have anything nasty added to them. (Isn't it a wonderful world we live in when shelters need to worry about stuff like that?)

i was gonna say shelter too, it seems like everyone is collecting pet supplies lately.
Awwwww :( I hate those days.
I hope you find some place that will take the items. I'm sure that a shelter could benefit from them. I wish it was more like fall here. But I'm in south Texas. It's never winter here. Geez. I still miss the cold though. Hope you feel better soon.
Merry, been reading your blog for a while now. I am so sorry for your loss, my daughter just went through this. She contacted the local humane society for Harley's gear and they were thrilled with the donation. I'm in Eugene, and yeah, weather is the same here, NOT summer!

Merry, you make my heart merry. Thank you for leaving me a message. I needed that. My youngest just started kindergarten today; I'm enjoying the quiet. I may actually post something within a couple of days. I'll be coming back to blogland with my tail tucked in.
(What's this about your foot? I'm going to go investigate your other posts).
(((Hugs)))
If a shelter cannot take your items, a breed specific rescue probably can. Check with a local Shepherd association or breeder.
