This is migraine, not yours

Headache bad
Mary sad
Writing a blog is no Iliad
Better ideas are not to be had

What, you got a problem with bad poetry?
Think you can do better?
Go ahead.

Try.

I dare you.

I should probably try to write a more interesting post, but my synapses have all got tenure, i.e. none of them seem to be capable of being fired.

I have no knack for poetry, so I won't attempt it.

I can only offer my sympathies as I'm afflicted with them as well.

Luckily I've got little orange friends to see me through when times are rough.

Hope you found relief!

Your synapses have tenure? *snort*

Here you go, this will either cause a relapse or make you feel ever so much better, knowing you did not write it:

Since the aching is all in your head
Perhaps you should take thee to bed?
The new day will bring
(it'll be just the thing)
Sun-light you will no longer dread.

Poor baby, she whispered softly, get some rest.

I too get migraines so I feel your pain. Hope you made it through!

You've heard the phrase,
"No pain, no gain."
I have to say,
"It's plain that's not sane."

It's late.
That poem wasn't great
Feel better anyway.

Gad, I hate migraines. I hope you're feeling much, much better today.

Stupid headaches.

fhquxme: fix me? Is blogger trying to tell me something?

I don't understand migraines. All I do when I have one is lie around like a limp shrimp. So why do I always feel so washed out and exhausted afterwards?

Thanks for the poetry and sympathy. Both are very helpful :)

When the pain in your head
Is too sharp for mere hugs
Get yourself into bed
And try to drown it with drugs.

Okay, that sucked, but hope the migraines go away and stay away!
