BCB told me, but I didn't believe her. It's true -- the days
are getting longer. And occasionally, the sun even appears. I only hope she didn't have to conduct any ritual human sacrifices at the time of the Winter Solstice to make this come about.
Now I feel kind of bad about sending all that
snow to her neighborhood.

I was so excited a few weeks ago when I left work and it wasn't yet all the way dark. Now if I could only have a wee bit of daylight to wake up by, I'll be happy. I really and truly detest having to get out of bed while it's still dark.
ovexate: when you really and truly detest something you can become overly vexed, or ovexated.
I really should do push ups today too, but I have NO energy. None.
I'm trying to be motivated by your having done those 30 maximum (yee haw!), but it's not working today.
Theresa -- I herewith grant you a formal dispensation, by the imaginary powers vested in me, to ease up on the push ups for today.
It doesn't get light here until 8 am. It's not helping me get up and out early enough for a morning run so I can be in the office by 9 am. Poopsicles.
Glad you're actually getting some daylight though. :)
In the end, I felt guilted into doing them, although it wasn't my best effort. I've decided that push ups are easier to do in the morning than the evening.
What's this? I now control the seasons? Or is it just the sun? I forget how that all works. The only thing I've sacrificed lately is my sanity -- really, it's the only thing that explains my continued employment.
But thank you for the snow. Really. I love snow. Especially here in NC. Because tomorrow it's going to be close to 50 degrees and even warmer the couple days after that. So the snow doesn't have a chance to get all dirty and downtrodden and irritating. It just melts. Lovely snow we have here in NC. You should come visit.
