My initial reaction is that this fails to transmit its message, however, it draws the "consumer's" attention really, really well and I for one took the time to focus, read the sign and contemplate the meaning. It is also memorable and provoking discourse. It might get an A+ after all:)
What have you got? Metarsilitis or Morton's neuroma? They can each be treated. From the "Ball of the foot" description of yours it sounds like the former. You need a foot pad with a "metatarsal bar" effect to keep the pressure off of that part of your foot while it heals. Of course I've given you "useless" advice before. You will have to email me if I can be of help.

He He, personally I hate a stinky man so this doesn't quite qualify as a fail for me.
I guess he would be worth taking the time and trouble to doll up for, if I were younger and single.

You don't give useless information! Don't make me come over there and slap you. You do great with the information :)
I thought the doc would simply tell me to rest it, which is what I've been doing. If they have other options, hell, I'll sign up today!
