I think that I shall never see
A poem as lovely as a tree...
Bah humbug!

Good: The leaves are off the lawn
Bad: That tree's just biding its time
Ugly: It's a talllllll tree
Giveaway du jour:Don't suppose I can give away a tree? No, thought not. Okay. Today I will give someone my full attention and listen to them.
Spent 10 minutes listening to my brother, who hasn't been in the best of health lately. We don't chat much, so it was good to spend time listening to him.
Exercise du jour: 4th week of the couch to 5k.
Good. Really went at it today, increased the pace. Felt good.

I think you're going to need a bigger rake.
:)
he he he - sucker!
That reminds me that I haven't done a GBU in awhile...
I'm just glad you didn't copyright the GBU format ;)
Xenia, I was kinda hoping I could persuade BCB to loan me her Chippendale leaf blowers to take care of this tree.
Then again, Lori did give me an axe... ;)
LOL! Chippendale, huh? More like Chip and Dale.
You know, I WAS going to offer to ask my DS and his friend whether they'd be willing to rid your yard of leaves. Really I was. They're very nice and I'm sure they'd be amenable. But there's the expense of travel. I know, I know, the price of two people (and their leaf blowing gear) journeying across the entire country is a small thing compared to competent leaf removal. BUT, and surely you realize this, then you'd also have to feed them. And once you witnessed first-hand how much food these young men are capable of consuming, without gaining so much as an ounce of excess body fat, um, well, I figure the urge to kill them in their sleep (I'm assuming you'd let them rest at some point?) would be too great a temptation to resist. Some days, it's all I can do to restrain myself. So this seemingly selfish refusal to share labour is really for your own good. You'd look so tacky in prison stripes.
dillask: do I levitate leaves? [just] ask.
Hmmmn... I might have to reconsider.
Pity. Seemed like an idea with promise.
Chop down the tree and give away the wood for firewood...you've given WARMTH!
