That kind of day

Quote du jour: Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.
- Ranier Maria Rilke

Do you love your job? And if so, why?

Interesting fact du jour: The new Starbucks drink, the Trenta, is actually larger than the average human stomach.

But-it-sounds-so-true du jour: U.S. renews its contract with ground squirrels.
The Department of the Interior announced this week that ongoing negotiations with the nation's population of spotted ground squirrels have been resolved and that the rodents are now contracted to continue activities on U.S. soil through Dec. 31, 2015. [Source The Onion.]

Exercise du jour: 15 minutes with my stairmeister, Fred A. Stairs. Plus, squats, walking.
Done! Total of 1056 steps.

Impressive-looking graph courtesy of Webber.

Love my job as a Adult circus trainer, proficient step-and-fetcher, master planner of a community of files ranging from legal, medical and misc BS, barista, camel, receptionist for calls that are usually wrong numbers!

Now to search for the exact same thing in Sacramento. Woo hoo!!!!

Spend half my time covered in tiny kitten messes, and the rest up to my elbows in cooking for or cleaning up after a horde of eight balls.

What's not to love?

I love parts of my job (librarian) but if I won the lottery I'd tell them to kiss the fattest part of my ass and be gone.

I love all of my jobs, they just don't pay enough to live on, so I am constantly in search of one that does.

I'm unemployed, so I don't think I'm qualified to answer this question. If it makes you feel better though, I CONSTANTLY doubt my choice of profession. The further I get into it, the worse it's starting to look.

I'm a scientist, and usually I like it a lot? But I like it best when I'm doing actual science, and not dealing with data in ways that would be best served by contracting those ground squirrels.

I don't love having to sit behind a desk all day, 5 days a week, but I do have to work and I am very happy with the company I work at - the work that I do and the people I work with. If I could afford not to work, that would be great, but since I do have to I am grateful for the job I have - I know from experience that it could be much worse.
