Job option: inept psychic?

The good psychic would pick up the phone before it rang. Of course it is possible there was no one on the other line. Once she said "God Bless you" I said, "I didn't sneeze" She looked deep into my eyes and said, "You will, eventually." And damn it if she wasn't right. Two days later I sneezed.

Hmmn... maybe I should add psychic to my job search?

Two nights ago, I dreamed my neighbor was ripping off the side of his house to do some construction work. Yesterday, my neighbor actually did start ripping off the side of his house. He's doing some kind of insulation work on the house.

Note to subconscious: Think Lotto numbers! Dream Lotto numbers. WINNING Lotto numbers.

Site du jour: This link is to a vocabulary test. Think you know a lot of words? I thought I did, but some of these had me stumped.

To Dos for Today

  • More vegetables & fruit.
  • Some exercise. I've got a Pilates DVD; maybe I can do the parts that involve core muscles rather than arms or legs. I had to walk yesterday, so today should be a core day.
  • Finish the damned résumé. Yesterday, I finally wrote down a version of the one paragraph I was stuck on. Today I'm going to polish it up and then I am done. This evening I have a job search seminar to go to (sponsored by my ex-company).

Job hunts are less than fun. I think I'd go with the psychic job. Perhaps start your own network...

(kidding, kidding -- sorry you're dealing with this!)

Always wanted to see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery", so i hope it's you when it happens.

Praying for your job search.

Definitely get a lotto ticket today!

You'd think that if I were going to dream of something that will come to pass, it would be something useful. But it's an awfully weird coincidence.

Definitely get the Lotto ticket. Good luck! I enjoyed the vocab test. But some of the words are really archaic.

Nope, sadly that's just not how real psychic shit works. I know. We can't find our ass with both hands, but hey, if YOU need something find....
Still, the lottery ticket is always a good idea.

Hell, apparently we can't spell or proofread either, that would be...
if YOU need something found...

(a VERY inept psychic today)

Even so, Julie... surely if I were having a psychic dream (and while I do not doubt that other people are psychic or at least hella intuitive... me???), even so, wouldn't the dream be something USEful? At least, to SOMEone?

I guess I don't mind the thought of having a dream that was somehow psychic (though I do struggle with the idea of /my/ having such a dream) so much as the thought of having a psychic dream that was absolutely trivial and irrelevant.

I suspect my subconscious is enjoying this.

I don't think I've ever hand a dream, thought, hunch or anything else that's remotely prescient, so I admire those who can must up even useless premonitions! Let's hope your dreams are only beginning to manifest your newly developing psychic powers, and huge lotto winnings are soon to come.
