But I wanted to dress business casual (not that I even own a suit.) However it was a super hot muggy humid day. So I wore barefeet and sandals and a lace tank top on the bus and metro, with my heavier slacks. Then at the metro I changed into socks and shoes, and put on my collared blouse over top -- for the last bus ride to the studio.

Also brought a rag to dry my face. And got there early enough to go to the Ladies and cool my RED anglo saxon face, fan myself, brush my hair, drink, etc.

Ya job hunting in August is not an elegant business if you live in a hot part of the country. I feel ya.London Mabelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04344685160375710889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33059794.post-66212254128028547602011-08-19T16:46:21.940-07:002011-08-19T16:46:21.940-07:00As long as you didn't have the panic attack du...As long as you didn't have the panic attack during, it's all good.solarityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03606487180967915130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33059794.post-53952719983308239792011-08-19T10:31:05.187-07:002011-08-19T10:31:05.187-07:00It's normal to be able to hold it together dur...It's normal to be able to hold it together during, and have the attack after. At least, for me it is. Like the fact that you don't start shaking until after the near miss in the car from the crazy person who tried to run you off the road.messymimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10649529601786689712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33059794.post-51999341203400721222011-08-19T09:22:10.084-07:002011-08-19T09:22:10.084-07:00Sorry about that, Shelley. Then again, it didn't get above 90 that day, which probably is jacket weather to a Texan right now ;)The Merryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09660495393832517684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33059794.post-32133228497103543922011-08-19T08:29:24.824-07:002011-08-19T08:29:24.824-07:00Thumbs up to a good interview! Then after I have a melt down.

I still remember when I took my driving test to get my license. My Dad thought I had failed because after I came back from the test I cried, but I had passed. As if, once I got the hard part out of the way, I could let go. As an adult, it's happened after job interviews as well.JavaChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06816858010039395389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33059794.post-56456214417519331252011-08-18T22:34:31.002-07:002011-08-18T22:34:31.002-07:00Okay.
