I try mowing <I>around</I> the bulbs, but that looks funny too.<br /><br />I read somewhere that most tulips don't keep going forever. I'm not sure if they were referring to the standard "store bought" tulips or all kinds. The plants and grass are soaking up all the drizzle. Really a lot of rain. I think Mother N is confused and thinks the east coast is the PNW. <br /><br />If you get a goat it will probably eat the flowers, too. And the rosebush, the trees, parts of the patio, the fence, etc.<br /><br />And think of all the <I>productive</I> exercise having a yard provides. <br /><br />ferfm: we meant no harm. Luckily it wasn't fresh. It dated to the 4th century AD.
